WHICH PLAN SHOULD YOU CHOOSE?
Healing isn’t a sprint…it’s a marathon. As such, I prefer to allow a person’s program to unfold naturally as their unique physiology and circumstances allow so as not to push the body to heal faster than it’s ready to. In doing it this way, the intention is to minimize any uncomfortable healing reactions that can be common when the body begins to purge years of toxic buildup while gradually coaching up a person’s adaptive physiology. It also allows us to address any microbial overgrowths systematically to help reduce any die-off reactions that may happen.
In the 12-week program, we’re trying to accomplish the same results as in the 24-week program, only in half the time. Thus, if you’re new to functional health practices, or know you’re sensitive to a lot of supplements, or if you have a lot of complex health issues, a 24-week program is highly recommended so we’re not pushing the body too fast, too soon. “Hurry up and heal” is not something I recommend or take part in. If you’re just looking for some basic care strategies for minor health issues or want to be proactive to prevent chronic dis-ease, then the 12-week plan may be a good fit.
Likewise, I break up your supplemental care plans into phases roughly every 30 days or so to prevent you from taking too many supplements at once. Thus, the 24-week program allows us to spread out the number of supplements you’re taking at any one time since we’re addressing things in phases. With a 12-week program, you’ll essentially be taking the same amount of supplements as the 24-week program, but, again, in half the time…which, for some people, can be overwhelming.
